Sugar waxing is one of the latest trends in cosmetics. You can try it at salons, but it’s easy to do at home and the ingredients required are few and inexpensive.
Compared to traditional waxing, sugar waxing is gentler to the skin and causes no irritation. Sugar waxing is 100% natural, it is less painful than other available alternatives and leaves skin very smooth, and its effect lasts much longer. If you want to try it, here’s what you need:-3 cups white sugar.
A quarter cup of lemon fresh juice,
-A quarter cup of water,
-Lotion for skin soothing.
Here’s how to do sugar waxing at home:
In a pan, mix the sugar, lemon juice and water. Simmer the mixture over low heat and stir gently. The mix is ready when it gets aired and catches a caramel shade. Take the saucepan off the heat and pour the contents into a container resistant to high temperatures. Leave the mixture to cool until it is firm but malleable. Take a piece of sugar paste and shape the mixture with gentle movements until the paste gets golden and warm.
Apply some dusting powder on the skin. After that you can apply a small amount of the waxing mixture on the skin and pull in the opposite direction of hair growth. If the hair isn’t completely removed use the tweezers to get rid of the unwanted hair. Immediately after sugar waxing, wash the skin with warm water and apply a moisturizing and soothing lotion. If you prefer an eco variant, pampers your skin with chamomile tea and aloe vera pulp.
